I loved the reference photos from Draw Brighton of AFLO. the poet and just had to create a portrait of such wonderful features and poses. It was fun facing the challenge of representing the hair in graphite and the patterns on the amazing robe. The double lighting was also an interesting part of this reference photograph for to challenge an artist.
